WELCOME! If you’re new and just joining us, start here — if not, read below…

Week 8 – Friday

Isaiah 65:16 NIV “Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so by the one true God; whoever takes an oath in the land will swear by the one true God. For the past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my eyes.”

AMEN – it IS so; so be IT.  We wrap up our prayer with confidence.  Declaring that the words that we’ve just spoken are true and verified and we are in agreement with it.  This is exact, certain, and true  We are saying amen to it ALL → Our Father.  Which art in heaven.  Hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us.  And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. ← After unpacking this prayer, can you say with confidence AMEN?  Do you understand the depth and meaning behind each clause?  How can you practically apply this prayer into your daily life?

Rebekah wraps up the week, watch this video…

We invite you to share your insights and thoughts by leaving a comment below or by replying to another comment.

If you would like, you can unpack the verse S.O.A.P style:
S = Scripture; what is it that I’m reflecting upon.
O = Observation; what does this mean to me, what do I notice?  What got my attention? Can I rephrase this in my own words?
A = Application; how can I apply this into my life?  What action can I take as a result of what I just learned
P = Prayer; based on what I’ve learned and my application/action, pray – talk to God about your insight, ask for help, offer thanksgiving.
