NEXT…..the NEW YEAR 2011

December, for me, has traditionally been a month of wrapping up the year and looking forward to what’s NEXT……the NEW YEAR!  This year as I wrap up and reflect, I acknowledge two main areas in my life that I’ve grown and gained new perspective; patience and accountability.

By inviting accountability into my life, I grow.  By practicing patience with myself and others, I learn, understand, accept.  BOTH bring me joy!  BOTH need continued attention and most likely always will.

As I look forward – I think it’s important to look back.  Do a quick self-analysis to see what needs improvement; what needs to be changed in me to get different results.

In his book, Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill provides a GREAT tool for us to do this.  He shares 28 questions we should answer at the end of each year and encourages us to share our answers with another person to ensure accuracy {accountability}.  Consider setting aside time to reflect and take the SELF-ANALYSIS QUESTIONNAIRE FOR PERSONAL INVENTORY → I’ve got it for you here!

3 things can happen in the NEW YEAR…..

You can move forward  | You can stay where we are  |  You can go backwards

IF you want to move forward and achieve your goals you MUST take action; what are you willing to DO?

I DESIRE to move forward!! Like I said, I know I NEED accountability…..I’ve got a couple of systems in place for that, BUT there are times when BIG goals can seem overwhelming.  I just came across an accountability group that I am joining that I want to share with YOU!

It’s called 3 in 30 – the concept is simple, break down your goals, identify 3 goals you’d like to accomplish each month (every 30-days).  Be encouraged and challenged by a group of others who are committed to doing the exact same thing….accomplish their goals in 2011!  Two women have started this initiative and I think it’s GREAT, join ME, join them, Ashley Pichea and Meghan Tucker and many others on this journey!  To learn more about 3 in 30 click here OR find them on Facebook or Twitter.
