Do NOT Throw Away Your Confidence

{Photo 204/365}  What a great way to start the morning — energized, encouraged, enriched — by Renee Swope’s talk.  SERIOUSLY…how easily and quickly we throw away our confidence! Why?  The main nugget that stuck with me is this:  Where am I putting my hope, my confidence?  When I put my hope ON and IN things of this world, those things around me, I fall.  I stumble.  I derail.  I lose my confidence.  When I hope and expect from others and things, I am not looking to what’s firm as solid.  I am not looking to God who holds and fulfills all His promises.  To God who equips and who is faithful to complete ALL good works.  He has promised FREEDOM and purpose.  When we walk with Him we find our significance; our confidence.  This centerpiece is a really pretty trash can — the sticker says confidence — there’s a line through it — lets NOT throw it away!  ”So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.  You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” Hebrews 10:35-36

  1. I don’t know why I doubt God, his promises, or how he’s gifted me. Silly human!

  2. Rebekah says:

What a MESSAGE! I want what God promises, I want my confidence to be unwavering, always present. HE is the only way to achieve this goal.
