Celebrate Life

{Photo 131/365}  On May 11th, 1994 the lady in the blue car hit him going 100 miles per hour on the wrong side of the freeway.  Fortunately, he was in a big body style S-class Mercedes, only going 55 miles per hour.  Her plan that day was to die, she did.  By the grace of God, he survived.  You can see pictures of the vehicles by clicking here.  Each year we celebrate his life on this day by not working.  We enjoy each other and spend time with friends.  He’s such a blessing; a special gift in my life and in the lives of others.  “The greatest gift of life is friendship, and I have received it.” - Hubert H. Humphrey  <— Grateful for my amazing husband; our friendship.

Teri! Wow. I hope you enjoyed celebrating life yesterday. Life is so fragile and always a miracle. It is good to be reminded of this.

Thanks Steph, we DID! We make a bigger deal about this day than we do his birthday…It’s just what you said, a reminder of how fragile life is.
